Oppo's Reno series has always been quite popular in the mid-range segment, and now the Oppo Reno 14 5G is awaited. After its launch in China, the lineup is now set to make its debut in India as well—it could be unveiled in the first week of July, according to reports. Launch Timeline
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Oppo Reno 14 5G and Reno 14 Pro 5G could launch in India in the first week of July 2025. The exact date is yet to be confirmed, but a "coming soon" teaser is already live on Oppo's official India website, hinting at a July launch. A report by Money control also mentions a similar timeline, targeting the first week of July.
Design and display
Standard Reno 14 5G: 6.59-inch Full HD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and OPPO Crystal Shield glass protection. The screen brightness goes up to around 950 nits for outdoor visibility.
Reno 14 Pro 5G: 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness, which should deliver a flagship-level viewing experience
Both models feature slim bezels and a flat screen design, which should offer a premium feel and a comfortable grip. Colour options expected are Green and White, which were also seen in the China variant
Display and Processor
Reno 14 5G: Will come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, which is built on a 4nm process and will offer pretty smooth performance for day-to-day multitasking. Geekbench scores are expected to be around 1,200 in single-core and 4,000+ points in multi-core.
Reno 14 Pro 5G: With the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC, which is slightly more powerful, and will give me an edge in heavy workloads on gaming
Memory Configurations Both my models will support up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Advanced heat dissipation solutions like ISRO grade cooling system are also likely to be included, which will keep the device cool during extended gaming sessions.
Camera System
Rear setup (standard): Triple-camera array consisting of a 50MP OIS primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens (2x optical zoom) and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor
Rear setup (Pro): Triple 50MP configuration—primary sensor, periscope telephoto (3.5x optical zoom) and ultra-wide sensor. The Pro model will get detailed zoom shots from the periscope lens, a rare feature in the mid-range
Front camera: Both models feature a 50MP selfie shooter, which will capture detailed selfies even in low-light.
AI-powered photography features such as Night Mode 3.0, AI Portrait Enhancement and HDR Pro mode are integrated, ensuring vivid colours and balanced exposure.
Battery and Charging
Reno 14 5G: 6,000mAh battery paired with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which is powered by approx. Can deliver 0-100% charge in 30 minutes
Reno 14 Pro 5G: Slightly larger 6,200mAh silicon-carbon battery, with the same 80W charging support, which will give the Dono Me advantage of longevity and faster top-ups
Real-world tests (from China review) suggest that the Pro model can achieve around 10 hours of video playback and 8-9 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge - pretty decent for the mid-range segment.
Software and Features
The Dono devices will launch with ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. Key software highlights:

AI System Booster for resource management
Enhanced privacy dashboard and secure vault
Oppo Relax 3.0 with focus mode without interruptions.
Apart from 5G connectivity, there will also be Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and stereo speakers, completing the overall connectivity stack
Expected Price and Availability
The price in India is expected to be in the same range as the Chinese market:
Reno 14 5G (12GB/256GB): Around ₹33,600
Reno 14 Pro 5G (12GB/256GB): Around ₹42,000
